Default Microphones

Hey,

Currently i have a microphone that seems to just not cut it on Teamspeak, it just gives barely any sound output at all, its right by my mouth (headset) but still it doesnt give a decent output. I have the ouput option set to max in teamspeaks options but it still doesn't give a very audible output.

So, two questions:
  1. Is there a program that can increase the output of the microphone outside of teamspeak?
  1. If not, can anyone reccomend a decent headset that gives a commendable sound output?

Cheers in advance.

Just wondering, that motorola headset seems for a phone, is the jack a 3.5? How do you get audio and mic input in the same jack for a pc?

Also just thought, would one of those earphone booster amplifier things (for want of a better word) that increases volume of audio players work with a mic into a pc do you think?

I just got a Logitech Precision PC gaming headset after have trouble with an older mic. Its comfortable, isnt too hot on the ears, and the mic works great.
Also, not sure on TS settings (I use vent) but try turning up your outbound?

Yeah my outbound is on max for teamspeak, i have a feeling that vent increases more when you adjust the outbound but unfortunately my guild only has access to a teamspeak server at the moment.

Can i ask if this is the one you own shrouded; http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Pre...9093 2&sr=8-6
